Only reason to upgrade to Vista is if you're intended to completely upgrade your computer. Then it's x64 Vista all the way.  An absolutely superb iteration of Vista, and how it was meant to be. And DX10 isn't bad at all.  Quite the oposite in fact.  The games industry is just in a akward transition between DX9 and 10. God knows what you’ve done then.  What’s your computers spec?
