Let me also state before i go into this that i dont disagree with your overall sentiment, and neither do the writers - Tim Kring has already stated that they made mistakes and are going to go back to the original formula. Firstly, it wasnt actually the end of 'Season' 2, just 'Part' 2 - that story arc within season 2 (however, i will agree, for all intents and purposes it can be called Season 2 - the seasons only reflect the US tv timings after all!) I think Hiro's power is actually counterbalance by Hiro's ineptitude due to being Hiro - at least i think that is intended to be the point. I do think he's too powerful tho. As for Bullet's through the head - i didnt get that - i got that they had to have their heads removed. Which would make total sense. A bullet through the head, as you rightly say, would make very little sense, and i really hope that i got that correctly! Anyways - i dont disagree with you, just wanted to point some things out!
