I watched the TNA pay per view from Sunday. I watched it only for the Ultimate X match and to see what this damn announcement was, and boy was it damned. Kurt Angle, who formerly made the statement he was going to MMA, swerved us all and wound up in TNA this week as their latest signing. For some reason I didn’t expect it. I was genuinely shocked that they would take such risk with someone WWE fired because they simply didn’t want him to die in their ring.
For Angle TNA is the worst place he could go to and that includes MMA. At least in MMA he could have one or two big pay days per year and earn just as much as he would working every week in pro-wrestling. Pro-wrestling has done a ton of damage to his body so far and it’s only going to take a few more matches for him to totally break down.
It’s sad that they couldn’t take the moral high ground and leave him on the shelf where he belongs, it seems all they are thinking about are ratings and PPV buys. These may increase in the short term but if he dies while with the company they will surely plummet and the world will have lost one of the greatest ever.

It honestly depends on who you believe, and with Vince’s track record of lieing (like with Brett Heart), and treatment of wrestlers, I slightly believe Kurt’s story more.
Kurt says he’s been off pain killers for 18 months, which contridicts WWE marking him as a druggy.
Kurt says he asked for time off but Vince wouldn’t give it to him.
Kurt says that Vince said to him “A gold medal and a cup of coffee don’t mean jack shit”.
Basically Kurt’s saying he got off drugs and wanted time off, WWE didn’t give it to him. Probably because they were pushing him in ECW. Why they fired him? Who knows, maybe Kurt threatened to quit WWE if they didn’t and Vince fired him because he doesn’t like threats. Or he knew Kurt wanted out of WWE and made up stuff to smear him in the fans eyes. Honestly who knows, if you believe Vince all the time, then you’d think Brett was spitting in the WWF fans eyes and screwed them, when instead it turned out Vince did screw him and Brett begged for a reason to stay with WWF and Vince wouldn’t give it to him.

Kurt Angle is a wrestler with a spark. He should come back to wwe and show the wwe audience that he is the worlds greatest champion ever. I think he can accomplish more goals in WEE and go to the hall of fame…
