Kurt says he's been off pain killers for 18 months, which contridicts WWE marking him as a druggy. Kurt says he asked for time off but Vince wouldn't give it to him. Kurt says that Vince said to him "A gold medal and a cup of coffee don't mean jack shit". Basically Kurt's saying he got off drugs and wanted time off, WWE didn't give it to him. Probably because they were pushing him in ECW. Why they fired him? Who knows, maybe Kurt threatened to quit WWE if they didn't and Vince fired him because he doesn't like threats. Or he knew Kurt wanted out of WWE and made up stuff to smear him in the fans eyes. Honestly who knows, if you believe Vince all the time, then you'd think Brett was spitting in the WWF fans eyes and screwed them, when instead it turned out Vince did screw him and Brett begged for a reason to stay with WWF and Vince wouldn't give it to him.
