MMA Weekly have the best article I have seen on the explosion in UFC’s pay per view buy rates over the last year. It’s truely incredible how much it has expanded and it just proves that the national TV exposure was all they needed to hook the masses into such a compelling sport and product.

That’s all the SPike TV coverage and all the UFC PPV’s and a buck load of other channels, HBO, ESPN, SKy etc…
Did I forget to mention, loads of PRIDE streaming too…

UFC 62 and all the build up shows are on this week.

Jimmy, what total bullsh*t…

So, if you havent bought the PPV in the first place, you have no legal right to view it. So… what’s the point - if you dont have a legal right to view it, i’m sure there are much better ways of getting illegal tv than streaming it…

I just had a quick go on it and there seems to be a ton of streams on offer.

They are gettring away with it because of the streaming thing. I remember copyright wasn¬ít a problem on internet radio until there was a shift from streaming to podcasting (ie downloadable). So thats the loophole they are exploiting.

That quote is from their own T&C’s - it says that you are legally required to possess the channel - whatever way you look at it, there is no loophole, its illegal unless you own the channel, in which case, there really isnt a whole lot of point in the site!
