We Have Air Hockey!

Out of all the things we could have bought for our flat we went to the extreme and bought a huge air hockey table. It was a pinch at just over £100 from eBay with no delivery fee courtosy of borowed van followed by a local pickup. Lugging the thing up six flights of stairs was a sight to behold and we got our fair share of funny looks but it was worth it in the end.

Fire Alarm

We had our first fire alarm here last night, of what will surely be the first of many, at the unholy hour of 4am. To say zombies were crawling out of their rooms would be an understatement.

To be honest I expected this to have happend sooner. It’s a regular deal in student halls and at one point in my first year it seemed like every week someone was setting them off.
